Orillia ProNet High Speed Internet UPDATE

We are writing you regarding a change in your high speed internet service.
Bell and the CRTC have been making changes to the way they want to charge us (and all service providers who sell high speed over the phone lines) for services relating to DSL. These CRTC regulated changes would require ProNet to implement a usage tracking system, a major undertaking in time and resources. While most customers are unaffected by the new regulated usage billing rules, our systems are simply not capable to support the change.
To this end, Orillia ProNet DSL services have been purchased by Auracom. This is a decision we did not make lightly, but we feel a larger company like Auracom will be better able to serve your ongoing high speed needs. Auracom has been in business since 1993, are one of the best and most respected providers in the country.
You current high speed services and email addresses will NOT change. The only necessary change is in billing, you will be billed directly by Auracom from January onward instead of being billed by Orillia ProNet.
However, you will be able to enjoy the benefit of Auracom’s 24/7 support, something we were never able to offer. You will be able to reach them as of January 1st, 2010 at 1-877-688-8127. You will also receive an email from Auracom directly, shortly after January 1st, with an introduction and a list of the enhancements they will provide to your service.
Again, this change will not affect your actual DSL service, email or any other service provided by Orillia ProNet, just the High Speed Internet billing will change.
